If the illustration of the functionality requires the use of an icon, such icon is selected from the range of own icons.

For frequently used and important functionalities own icons should be used. If no appropriate icon exists, such icon should be created additionally. Own icons enable the user to recognize their meaning regardless the platform on which the application is used. Own icons are the same for both platforms and are designed to blend with the platform’s system icons as much as possible. Own icons should be designed as independent symbols without background or implementation of the symbol within individual geometric shapes. Icons should be linear, graphically-simple and without unnecessary details.
