Minimum protection zone

The minimum protection zone is defined with width and the height of a half of the NLB sign. No other graphic element can be added in this space, except for the tagline.

The symbol should also not be positioned so close to the edge of the format that this distance would be shorter than the defined minimum protection zone.

Violation of the minimum protection zone is only allowed in exceptional cases, defined in this manual:

  • very small forms (e.g., the stamp),
  • applications which require a very large symbol with regard to the available space (e.g. banners for sporting events, outdoor and indoor signage),
  • ror non-rectangular formats.

The minimum protection zone is not considered in online advertising.
